Tell Your Readers a Story
As humans, we love to connect with other people, especially people who had a sad background. This naturally makes us feel sorry for them.
For example, would you follow someone who said… I was rich from the day I was born and I found these cool new ways to increase my income.
Or would you follow the person who said this… I was poor from the beginning, had no food and my family was homeless. But now I finally made it, living in a nice simple home.
Obviously you would choose the second option. HOWEVER, don’t lie! But if you do have a story to tell that is related to your article then do mention it.
(Seriously though, don’t lie. As your lies will always catch up with you.)
