Creating An App To Allow Bloggers to Increase Their Traffic Day 1
Recently, I wanted to challenge myself and use my coding knowledge to create my first software as a service.
The application is for bloggers and copywriters and allows them to collect SEO data and write articles automatically with A.I, which is no easy task to create.
The Problem
Before starting any Saas project, I realised I needed to find what problems people were having and its solution. Which I learned from a few accelerator programs I have joined.
Since I have experience in blogging and writing content on Medium, I noticed that SEO tools are expensive, and bloggers don’t have too much time to write articles every day to rank high on Google.
So the solution?
Create an A.I software that will write content for its users and give SEO information to enhance the text of the user.
Bubble.io
The next step was deciding which framework I was going to use. In this case, Bubble.io was a perfect choice. Bubble.io is a No-code building platform that allows you to connect services, to create your Saas idea into a reality.
I also used this because it will save a lot of time, in contrast to coding it. But the catch with using a service like this is its monthly costs.
Marketing
I hear many business owners telling me, marketing is by far the most important part of making your business successful. Since, even if your product is good. If nobody hears about it, how can anybody be interested in purchasing from you?
Although I am still trying to execute a good marketing plan at the moment. So far I put my Saas on producthunt which will help increase its viewability. Also, I joined a few Facebook groups to spread the word about my application.
Conclusion
Overall, building this application took quite some work and I am still currently building it, but it helps that I have experience with web design and coding.
